Hey everyone!
As some of
you may know, if you keep up with my blog, I am currently in Toronto right now
on a bit of a family vacation. It has been about 7 years since my family really
went on what could be considered a vacation. So we arrived in Toronto on Monday
and we will be staying until Friday afternoon. So this post is basically going
to be about my trip so far.
So after
arriving on Monday we were all tuckered out from traveling so we didn’t really
do anything too exciting that day. We got settled into our Hotel, which is the
Toronto Grand Hotel and Suites, and decided to go to the Eaton Centre to go get
dinner and shop around for a bit. I ended up getting things, from Forever 21,
Pink, and Zara. After we were done at the mall we went back to the hotel and
took a little swim in the pool, watched a movie, and just relaxed the rest of
the night.
Yesterday was
quite a bit more exciting, we woke up quite early to get breakfast and to get
ready for the rest of the day. We first went to the Ripley’s Aquarium which was
simply amazing! There was so many types of fish, Manta Rays, Eels, Sharks, Sea
Turtles, and Jellyfish! There was also a
section of touch tanks where you could actually touch some of the animals
including Horseshoe Crabs, Whitespotted Bamboo
Sharks, Brownbanded Bamboo Sharks, Southern Stingray, and Cownose Rays.
It was such a cool experience and I got to say that seeing the Jellyfish was definitely
my favourite part of the Aquarium. After the aquarium we went to the CN Tower
which was a cool experience because I’ve never been there. Going up the
elevator was interesting because there was a window where you could see
yourself rising above downtown Toronto. Once we got to the top there was a
section on the floor that was glass so standing on that was pretty crazy, but
the craziest thing was going out onto the sky deck and walking around the
outside of the tower. It was so beautiful to see all of the city from that
height, but we couldn’t stay out there for too long because it was so windy
that it was hard to stay standing in certain places. We soon went back to the
hotel to relax a bit until it was time for dinner. For dinner we went out to
this cute retro styled diner and had burgers and shakes which was pretty good,
and after dinner we went to the Eaton Centre where I bought more things from
Garage and Lush.
So today, we went to The Ontario Science
Centre, which is a place that I haven’t to since I was a child. When we got to
the Science Centre there was a bunch of schools with younger children who were
yelling and screaming, so I was a bit annoyed because they we not respecting
the other visitors they were just running around bumping into people without a
care. I started to develop a headache and because of that I got cranky so I was
not enjoying my time there. Though I did get to experience their Planetarium
section which was the highlight of the day. After leaving the Science Centre we
grabbed dinner to take back to the hotel where I have been the rest of the
night because I still have a pounding headache. All in all so far it’s been a
fantastic trip, and I am excited for what we are doing tomorrow.

Also, I will be doing a haul like entry
of all the things that I bought while being on this trip, so That will be
coming out probably on Monday, and I will also be posting a Vlog of my trip as
well which will either come out next Wednesday, or the following Monday. Let me
know what family trips you have taken recently, and what your favourite part of
it was!
Take Care! xxx
