Hey everyone!
Today I wanted to talk about something that I have problems
dealing with especially in school. Procrastination. I have such a hard time
starting an assignment early no matter how important the assignment is. I’ll
begin to start it, but end up on the internet, usually on YouTube and say to
myself “one video, and then I will start.” Only that never happens. I end up
getting sucked into the internet vortex for 2 hours and then just give up on
even trying to do my assignment. I will usually end up doing my assignment
either the day before it’s due, or the day of. I have a problem. I don’t know
exactly when this problem started but I’m pretty sure it has gotten worse since
I have been in university.
I don’t know how to get out of the habit of procrastinating,
and I am sure I am not the only one with this problem. It is almost the end of
my first year in university so there is no sense in fixing it right now, but
for my second year my procrastination issues is something that I want to fix. I
don’t know if I will be able to do it because I know that habits are hard to
break, but if I can at least stop doing things completely last minute than I
will be a bit happier.
If anyone else has issues with procrastination let me know! Also,
if you were a procrastinator and were able to conquer it please let me know how
you did it, because I am in desperate need of fixing this problem!
